Got 20 Americana hatching eggs from Blue House Farm. 10 hatched, 3 with racing stripes are fine, 7 pure yellow ones just stood there like Zombie till they dropped dead! What the bleep is up with that? [IMG]

Could it be cocci? If not what were the temps in the brooder?

No It's not cocci, they didn't have time to contract anything. The didn't eat or drink just stood there for 3 days till they dropped dead.
The other 20 chicks are fine. It's just the yellow americana.

I recently had a similar thing happen with my hatch, turned out to be a bacterial infection through the yolk sac. I treated with antibiotics, lost two and saved one. I don't know if that is what is wrong with your chicks, but sounds like my guys. Good luck!
