what is wrong with my roosters feet?

hi i have 9 hens and a rooster i was outside when i seen my rooster keep on pecking at his foot and then i seen him lefting his foot not wanting to stand on it i looked and there was red and swollen around some feathers on his feet and on one toe there is some yellow i dont know whats wrong and would love any tips thanks to every one

He may have leg mites. Looks like some raised scales there. I don't know about the red, but breeds with feathers legs have problems sometimes.

For leg mites slather his leg with Vaseline or dip it in candle wax (make sure it isn’t too hot!) to smother the mites. You can also use a toothbrush and a little soap (all natural preferably) and scrub his legs. I have heard that most chickens love this. Sprinkle DE throughout your birds’ bedding.
