The words “Living Organic” come up more than expected when I talk with friends, family and co-workers. I know a lot of people who talk about living an organic lifestyle and actually consider their lifestyle “organic”. I know that everyone has their own definition as far as what they consider is living an organic lifestyle. Some people’s organic lifestyle consists of only buying and eating “organic foods” that don’t have any pesticides, chemicals, hormones, etc and that is the only “organic” part of their livelihood. They continue to use chemicals in their hair (perms, dyes, etc) and on their body. Other people consider living an organic lifestyle the same as far as only eating organic foods but then the spectrum widens out to things like only using organic soaps, shampoo, toothpaste, lotion, detergent, household cleaners, etc. This thread is not about being right or wrong as far as what we or others consider living an organic lifestyle. I’m just curious as to how others define the term “organic”. You don’t have to live an organic lifestyle to reply to this topic. Everyone has their own definition of what they think is living an organic lifestyle. I would like to hear from everyone about their thoughts. Can a person truly live an organic lifestyle and still incorporate chemicals, pesticides, perms, hair dyes, make up, finger nail polish, perfumes, etc. into their daily lives? Your thoughts……………….
