I'd like to know what everyones standard policy is for shipping eggs.

1)what do you do when they all arrive broken to the seller.

    2) how about they never arrive? you have proof you shipped them (tracking number)
    3) they never arrive, without proof of shipping (just stuck them in the mail and they went missing).

    (edited to clarify 2&3)

Well, *knock on wood* I've never had ANY eggs arrive broken to my buyers. I pack very well and I'm very picky about how I pack.

Having said that, if anything did arrive broken, or they didnt receive their eggs, I would send replacement eggs, when I could. I have received the same courtesy from other sellers, so I extend it to my buyers.

Well, I think it's kinda *understood* that in cases such as these, the buyer pays the shipping - if the seller is kind enough to send replacement eggs, you know? That's the least the buyer could do, if they want to give it a try again.

For what it's worth - I never send out anything anymore without tracking. So, there IS proof that items were mailed.

Quote:I've never had a problem eather, when you put delivery confermation on it the PO sees to make sure it makes it you should be able to track them down also. with shipped eggs if they were packed good brackage of the whole box should not be an issue.

Quote:My answer to #1 is if they arrived all broken I'd refund money or offer more eggs to replace them.

My Answer to #2 I'd find out where they were contact my P.o. worker and try to find them, If they had been in the mail too long then Id offer more eggs or Money back.

My Answer to #3 is Same as 1 and 2 I'd offer more eggs or refund the money.
