What kind are these quail

    What kind are these quail please. I was told they are french and do they look like males.

    Im going to guess. kinda looks like Golden Coturnex

    It does look like a golden coturnix...a female with the spotty chest, I think.

    looks like a female golden coturnnix to me too. Wait till Monarc sees this, I bet she'll be able to tell you exactly whatcha got there.

    Its Coturnix--- Female--- The Golden Color.

    Female golden coturnix, you can tell it's female by the spots on her breast. They are actually chinese, not french [​IMG]

    Yes female, males at that age have darker throats and breast. Golden coturnix
