Bought 7 chicks off a local farmer. Then bought another 7 a couple weeks later. He mentioned lavendar or something. Not entirely sure. Im a complete noob but Im caring for them and I think they are growing at a good pace. He said they were about 6 weeks when i picked them up and thats the pic of them im the box. I believe I have 6 Cocks and 8 pullets Im most likely incorrect but thats how you learn!!

Thanks in Advance!!

Individual pictures are necessary for identification of breed and gender! :) It's extremely hard to tell from far away group photos. That being said you have some mixed breeds for sure, some potentially being Sapphire Gems. The two blue barred birds, blue with orange shoulders, and white with orange shoulders are clearly cockerels from the photos. :)

What are the breeds of those cockerels of mention??

I knew the Bigger white guy was with the brown shoulders . What breed is He?? Also I think there is an all black one the is one as well. Im going off sheer size and how they match up against one another. Then it was 100% when it did its call.. what makes it clearly a cockerel other then the things I said?? Also Ive zoomed in on a few other pics to see if these are better.

Thank you!

They all appear to be mixes except the Lavender Orpington who is also a cockerel :) The white bearded bird likely is part Easter Egger!

Thanks for the new pictures! These are the obvious cockerels! I see all mixed breeds except the Lavender Orpingtons. The blue barred cockerel may be a Sapphire Gem (also a mixed breed). The white and tan pullet *could* be a Prairie Bluebell Egger and the black pullet with gold hackles could be a Black Sexlink (both mixed breeds again) but I find it more likely they're all unnamed mixes. :)
