I picked up my 28 chicks this morning [IMG]. There are 12 Golden Reds, 12 White Leghorns and 3 Black Sex-Links and 1 Mystery. This one was in the bin with the RIR's and thats what I was told it was but, I have 17 day old RIR's that I had from 3 days old and they didn't look like this particular one. Can someone identify this baby chick............................

    Here is the chicks back..............................

If it is a RIR, I am fine with that but, this one just stood out from all the rest so I got it to.

I'll post picks of other babies later. I need batteries for the camera.

Also, this chick looks like it has mascara around its eyes. Somthing my RIR's didn't have.

I bet he's an EE. We had one like that that we couldn't figure out for the longest time, but as he gets older his legs are going green and he's feathering out just like my other EEs, even though he didn't look like them as a bitty chick.

How old is that one? Mine is only 2 days (I think). But it sure looks like it.

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I hope it is because I wanted one but they cost more and it will be unusual for the feed store to have those.

This pic was taken at about 5 days old I think. My other amaraucana has the same coloring but looks less chipmunkish than this one.
