what kind of chicken and gender is this one

This was sold to us as a Barred Rock Hen, Was born first week in January.It does not look like a Barred Rock now although it did when it was younger. Any ideas?

Found this one, Barred Rock/ Rhode Island Red mix rooster. No ,he was sold to us as a hen.Its ok, he is the sweetest chicken we have. Sits in your lap and eats, just have to come up with a new name now that Lillie sounds a little girlish. Thanks for the replys
