I bought my 1st chicks at a box store, they were 6 fuzzy pale yellow chicks. Now 3wks. in they are getting white ish feathers. I think don't know why but I do think they may be Leghorns. How can I be sure?

White ears would be a Leghorn. Red ears could be White Rock or cornish cross meat chicken.

Your birds are probably either Plymouth Rocks, Leghorns, or Cornish Cross. If you post a picture, we may be able to help (but it can be difficult to tell the exact breed of white chickens until they get older).

Like the others said, you probably have White Rocks or White Leghorns. You'll know for sure when they get older (12-14 weeks) and develop earlobes; leghorns will have white earlobes, but rocks will have red ones. Pictures could help.
