I am new to the byc world but very excited about this new adventure! The big question is what kind of chicks did I get? My kids and I purchased these chicks at a local feed store. The sign read "Pullets- sexed females" and that was it. The guys that workwd there asked what I wanted, I told him chicks for laying and he said these were it. My guess is that they are 2 months old. And they are still all white ( or off-white rather). Anyone know what breed they are? Thanks

Do you have a picture of them? There are some other options as well, such as sex link crosses designed for egg production and there are a couple other breeds that are white as well.

Whoops, when I was first looking at this post it wasn't there. Thanks for the heads up, and I agree, white leghorns.
