What kind of comb is this? And what is this?

    Looks like he's a Silkie mix, so it's a walnut comb.

    He's a silkie mix. mixing comb types doesn't always produce an identifiable type of comb, it's a mix.

    Out of curiousity, how could you tell it was a silky mix? Also, are his feet really different colors or is that just a bad pic?

    Silkies have a distinct set of characteristics besides the silkie feathers. Crest, beards (sometimes), feathered legs, black skin, walnut combs, five toes. Those traits are all dominant or incomplete dominant, so they carry through to the offspring clearly.

    I don't think the yellow in the pic is the bird's leg, it's something in the yard.
