The guy told me these were both pekins but the black one looks different. He said they all came from same mother but didnt seem sure of it, see pics. What is the black one?[IMG]

Well I only raise muscovys so I'm no expert on pekins but I'm pretty sure that's not a Pekin..

The black is not a Pekin. It is impossible for Pekins to be black.
Do you have pics of them as ducklings?
It looks like a Rouen, or Rouen cross Cayuga.

It looks like a Khaki Campbell to me.

The flight feathers aren't Khaki coloured though. Aren't Khakis usually smaller too? Compared to a Pekin a Khaki shouldn't be almost the same size.

True, flight feathers aren't right for a Khaki .... reminds me of my 300s .....
In the 3rd pic it does look smaller, I think ......
I'd say it's a mix of Khaki and something else, or maybe a Khaki with bad coloring?

Maybe... but the plumage pattern and wing flight feathers remind me so much of a Rouen.... but the beak is wrong. My guess is Rouenx Cayuga or Khaki x Something.

Your best bet is to contact the breeder and see what breeds he had on site, and then consider each one as a cross. But it is NOT a Pekin cross.

I agree. The beak does look right for a Khaki IMO. Here's some pics of my Khaki for comparison:

It could easily be a Dark Khaki or a Khaki Campbell x Rouen or Cayuga.
