Bought a mix of different duck eggs to hatch and this is my first little baby out. Just wondering what breed he/she is. Any ideas???

Were the eggs a selection of different eggs from pure lines or where they from a flock of mixed ducks? The duckling has some of the traditional markings of a Mallard (or Rouen) but there is definitely something else in there.

Just based off of the colors and patterns, there is no pure breed duck breed that looks like that

Might be Khakis or Blue Swedish . . . if you can get more photo's maybe that would help. And maybe I just want to see more duckling photos!

@amiga. These are my first ducks, i never dreamed they would be so mischievous. Cutest little thieves I've ever seen. They constantly steal things from me.
