What Kind of Ducks are these?

    Besides the ones that quack! [​IMG]

    I just adopted two laying hens about 1 year old. The owner's mother had to find them a good home, so I took them. I have geese, turkeys and chickens, but these are my first ducks. The woman thought they were mallards, but she's never seen them fly. Something says Khaki Campbells or Rouens, but heck, I'm not a duck expert. Here are the girls' picts:

    they look like hatchery mallards/rouens.

    Looks like Rouens to me. They are good egg layers.

    Wonderful ducks, and glad to hear they are settling down nicely.

    The woman said they were really upset in her car. When I took them, they calmed right down. I put them in a separate pen and plan on introducing them to the geese and turkey slowly.
