What kind of ducks are these?

    I got these ducks from a lady about a month ago. She didn't tell me breed they are and I tried doing a google search. But I can not find any breed that really look like them. They may just be a mix breed duck. She just told me that the darker one was hatched last summer. The lighter colored one is the father to the other one.

    A mix of something, hard to say. They are good looking drakes though.

    The lighter one is a black swedish rouen cross probably. if that is so, then the darker one is probably 3/4 black swedish, and 1/4 rouen. Pertty duckies!

    I've got a drake that looks almost exactly like that. [​IMG]
    (he's still got the green tint you just can't see it in this pic) Mine is a cayuga/pekin mix, so I would guess that's what yours are. (The one closer is the drake, the other his his sister)

    I may post a better pic when I get the chance.

    Ilovemyduckies - your drake does look a lot like my drakes. I would like to see more pics.
