What kind of ducks are these?

    We saw these at the fair last night. They were listed only as "other duck" and the exhibitors weren't around to ask.[​IMG][​IMG]

    Looks like a Mallard to me, either juvenile or female.

    they could be rouen's...flightless mallards.

    Thanks. I'm surprised they were just labeled "other" but I know nothing about showing birds so there ya go! They were very calm and almost friendly (for ducks). They turned and looked us as if they were as interested in us as we were in them, with any nervousness. Such a nice soft color too.

    looks more like an appleyard or other gray duck, but the face doesn't say rouen to me.
