What flavor of ducks are the domestic white meat ones like you would get in a restaruant?
I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say flavor because you can prep a duck in many different ways. But restaurants probably give you Pekin duck meat because they dress at 8 weeks.
Its white meat tho.... its not a red meat like every other wild duck... its a breed thats farm raised for meat... thats what im looking for... i love ducks.... i love to eat em too.. weve raised mallards already... bit id like to have a meat duck...
i know all about wild duck breeds.. just not domestic...
Than I would recommend if you want meat ducks to get the Pekin or the Muscovy. This is the duck that farms commercially raise. That and mule ducks.
