I was thinking maybe an Embden?
Where did you get it? That might help narrow it down. Although unfortunately a lot of breeds are yellow and gray like that when little. You may have to wait until it grows up to be able to tell.
A friend found him in the middle of nowhere on a country road. So definitely abandoned? In Minnesota
Well he's not a canada gosling - his bill and legs aren't the right color for that, so he's probably a domestic breed. Possibly an embden, maybe a class roman but those are rare, maybe a sebastopol, etc etc. You'll probably have to wait until it feathers out and see how big it gets to know for sure. Glad you rescued the little thing! If you could find another gosling to keep him company he'd appreciate it.
Either a pilgrim, embden, Sebastopol, or maybe even a roman. You'll just have to wait and see
Embden and looks like a female
Why do you say Female
Because of the coloring
