What kind of hawk is this in my backyard?( Pictures)

    I'm no hawk expert, but I've seen red tail hawks with similar white feathering across the upper back.

    Maybe a Sharp Shinned or Merlin - hard to tell.

    Looks pretty small might be a sparrow hawk. A little to far away to tell.

    If in Florida, maybe a Short Tailed Hawk, but looks like maybe a Red Tailed.

    Looks a little too small to be a red tail. Body shape is thinner too. Especially in the first picture. I'd say a cooper's, short tailed or broad winged hawk.

    Members of both species can migrate pretty far South, but there are other small raptors that, from the first shot, would fit the profile.

    Falcons are small.. Perhaps a falcon?

    Bars on the tail visible in the second picture, along with the size say that's a sharp-shinned hawk. Could be a small cooper's also, but I can't see the legs and end of tail shape.
