Okay- I finally found my camera cord and charged the battery. Forgive me for being a little picture happy today.

I was given this girl along with two RIR girls in the beginning of spring. What kind of hen is she- her previous owner just called her Yellow. The younger pullets are 11 week old Buff Orps, she is much lighter than them. Sorry the pictures stink- she was way more interested in the food than a photo op.

Here is a slightly more close up picture. In reality, she is bigger and fatter than the RIR hens, and she has a big fluffy butt. Anyone want to guess her age too? She's such an enigma, lol!

I know... but she really is... she's a little bossy but she lays eggs and never crows

  7. She looks very Roo-ish in the head, but her body and bottom especially look hen-ish.. What an odd bird!

She almost makes me think Orpington/Cochin cross.
Look at her bloomers huh? What a fluffy bottom!

I believe its gender confused. But yes its gotta be a buff orp cross. Didn't you mention RIR being at the same place? Maybe thats the cross?
