She ('Betsy') lays white eggs, and there's some brown on her back, and until recently I thought is was mud but then I realized her feather turned brown. Thanks for any suggestions!

Just a guess game crossed with deleware. Some games have white legs. And a lot of games lay white eggs. The face is red and the neck feathers look like deleware. Again just a guess.
we have had EEs look like that. but i think shes bad sq delaware

Do you have a roo in with them? I've had some hens get dirty like that from matings, and it stays until they molt.
