what kind of hens are theses????

    Hey group, i have these hens and the people that we got them from didnt know what kind they were. Can anyone here tell me. I think the red one is a welsummer. let me know what u think.[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    I don't think the first one is a Welsummer, maybe a RIR, or production Red- Not sure about the second one, maybe an australorp? Pretty girls though!

    I agree with allieloveschickens, not a welsummer and the other is a black Australorp. They are very pretty.

    First one is either a Production Red (hatchery quality Rhode Island Red) or a New Hampshire.

    Second one is a Black Australorp.
