    TX baby!
We went to the Houston Livestock show last week and they had a nice sized pen set up of the different type of chickens besides broilers.

They had SLW, RIR, White Cochin, Leghorn, Speckled Sussex, Creavour? and a few Polish

but they didnt list what kind [IMG]

So for all you Polish people what kind is it?

You got me I have never seen a polish like that. It kinda looks alitle like the white crested red polish roo on feathersite but can't really tell from the coloring in the pic

That is what Ideal sends out as a red crested red. They were developed using red leghorns and wcb polish, so a lot of them have the white crest.

    Here's a cockerel I recieved from them

Doesn't look like my chocolates; but the colours don't look quite right in the photo, either.

its a red. most likely a red crested red showing too much white in the crest. makes an excellent white crested red though. [IMG]
