What kind of rooster is Junior?

    Junior joined my flock a couple months ago. He is young and a good-looking bird, but I have no clue what kind of chicken he might be since he joined from the great outdoors.

    He's a lovely Barnyard cross. That boy looks like he's got a bit of everything in him. His stance/carriage screams game bird but he has a rose comb like a Wyandotte with a bit of a crest from a Polish or other crested breed.

    I'm seeing game and EE in him. One things for sure, he is handsome!

    This. I'm not seeing the easter egger everyone else is talking about. I think a lot of game, a little bit of crest. Wonder if silkie is a few generations back, that might account for the crest and comb.
