What breed is this rooster? Someone gave him to me and I haven't been able to figure out what he is. (First thought was RIR but the white markings are throwing me off) Anyone know?[IMG]

He looks like an Easter egger cross because I had an ee rooster who looked like him but was larger, had a pea comb, and had more muffs and beard (if those are muffs I see on yours)

Mixed breed, possibly with Easter Egger in his background.

    Mixed breed.

My best guess is EE x brown Leghorn. the EE would not have been pure for a pea comb, but that's possible.

Someone may have been breeding for SBELs, just using brown Leghorns instead of white. I've done the same thing, but thankfully got all hens.

x2. I can see some heavy Brown Leghorn influence in him.

Is it me or does he have white skin? Could be Marans in there.
