what kinda cochin is this? pics of bird on top post

    okay, so i generally run barred cochins now but for a while i also had a black cochin bantam cock. i just hatched about 100 eggs and i came out with one of the little dudes lookin a lil different than the others. hes balack with a white throat goin down through his belly to his tail and he has whaite under his eyes. is this a muut or is it some kinda breed?bad pic. the rest of him is black

    My blacks had white on them as babies.

    We hatched one that looks like what you are describing. He turned out to be a Birchen.

    sweet!! i just hatched out some more and the majority of them are the same coloration! i guess that busy lil rooster had a dominate gene in him somwhere
