What kinds of hens are these?

    Not sure about the breeds. Are you sure they're both hens? The black & white has pretty long spurs.

    Looks like a excheker (not sure of spelling) Leghorn in the top picture and the bottom one looks like a Black Star

    This is just a SWAG, but...

    First one: Mottled Leghorn

    Second: mossy Black Copper Marans?

    I don't know about the first one, but I agree that the second one is some sort of sexlink. Whatever you want to call them Stars, BSL, etc. I have had Black, Yellow, and Black&Yellow legs.

    The second one looks like mine, which I got at 18 months. The previous owner said hers were Jersey Giant/Aracauna mixes. I know she was wrong about Aracauna since a few were EE layers. BUT, I'd like to know what mine were if a few of mine look identical to that one. Brown eggs here, same leg color.
