Don't know about that, just going by what the guy told me when I bought it...I do know it holds a temp better than anything I've used

I think that's an older 15** model, but not a 1502. The 1502 had closer tray spacing with a hatching tray at the bottom. I believe yours was called the pro model with the three wider spaced trays allowing for a greater turning angle. It has an electronic t-stat with a wafer backup. If I could find one of my old hard copy catalogs I could come up with the
model #. In the 2011 line the pro model is designated as a 1500. Here's a link to operating instructions that should apply to yours.

Better too low than too high on a sportsman imho.

Mine is set at 98.5 and still I have hatches a day early at times.

Looks like an early 1502 to me too. Was part of a set with seperate hatcher I think.

Mine is just like it, except I raised the two lower turners up one hole and added a hatching tray at the bottom.

Looks like a hatcher, don't see where it has a turner from the photo.
Can be used as a regular inc just have to hand turn

and if ya set lots of eggs like i do a turner is a must for a good hatch.
Great machine and parts are easy to find when needed,
i have 2 GOF incubators and 1 hatcher i highly recomend them.

It does have a turner...soory if the picture wasn't clear. It has a toggle switch on the side that can be used to manually turn it or it can be set on auto.
