What not to feed your chickens?

i am new to raising chickens is there anything you should never feed them?

I am no expert but I have heard not to feed them onion or garlic because it could make their eggs taste funny. And dry beans have something in them that are toxic to chickens. But really chickens can and will eat mostly anything! My chickens love cooked noodles, they eat them like they are worms, it is very entertaining to watch. Just last night I gave them an old cupcake with no frosting and they started a feeding frenzy on it, one chicken would take it and run with it and they would all chase them!

Citrus can make your eggs taste funny. Avocado is poisonous to all birds as is chocolate. Don't feed anything highly processed, sugary or salty. Garlic free choice is fine (don't mix it into other stuff).
