Bummer!
Of the 6 original chicks we raised from day 1, 1 turned out to be a boy!
After a few weeks, we noticed the Auracana chick to have grown faster than the others and we thought maybe it was the breed. Until about 8 weeks into life, and we were awakened one morning (4:15 am) by a loud crow coming from the coop!
Well unfortunately, due to neighbor issues, we had to locate a new home for "Omellete", and fortunately we were able to relocate him to a new home. Alls well that ends well!
