We live in urban setting with about 100'x50' freerange area for our chickens.
What plants can I grow in this area to be helpful to our chickens ?
Comfrey ? Clover ? Other plants bushes that chickens can feed on and/or
that promote bug growth that chickens can eat ?

Comfrey is a must. They love it, and it is such a fast grower it's amazing.

Amarath would be another good plant -- look for the grain amaranths that get very tall, like 6 plus feet. They are enormous and fast growers and make a lot of both greens and seeds, although I don't know if the seeds are too tiny for chickens, they're about the same size as poppy seeds.

Thanks. I see that there are different types of Comfrey.
Can you suggest any specific variety ? And any source where I can get
comfrey and amarath ?
