I got a new rabbit hutch for Christmas, and this summer I'm wanting to get another bunny! The first rabbit I had was a a dwarf rabbit that was EVIL! Then I had a Holland Lop, and I really liked her, she was REALLY sweet! What rabbit would you suggest?

I guess the answer would depend on what size rabbit you are interested in. I have 3 girls that are California, New Zealand cross. They are big girls but super sweet. I personally like big breeds of anything (I have large breed dogs, large breed chickens and large breed rabbits.) That is my personal preference. Some folks like smaller breeds that take up less space, eat less food and are easier to handle.
How much does size matter to you?

I was considering the Dutch, what is their temperment like? Can they be potty trained? Um, I would like to have a smaller breed of honey bun, ( Bunny ) but it would just depend on if I liked his/her temperment! There is a pet shop that sales lionhead bunnies! How much grooming do they need? What is their temperment? Do they eat alot? Are they friendly? Do they like to cuddle?

depends on the amount of hair...the more hair...hte more grooming. I got ones that had less hair for this reason. mine don't eat as much as my dutch crosses...they are fairly calm...I don't cuddle bunnies...sorry...they are supposed to be cute snake food...then the snake died...now i need a new snake...but the bunnies ain't leaving! They are cute

my little dutch bunny is a sweetheart. she loves to lick and she's a sweetheart!!! yes they can be pottytrained

I think you answered your own question, the holland lop, super sweet & small. I have had many breeds of rabbits and been a 4-H leader for years, they are still my favorite breed, especially for kids!

My dutch rabbit is the sweetest thing. She really doesnt act like a rabbit at all, but more like a small dog. A lot of rabbits can be timid or mean even with attention, but with Pippin i got her from the pet store and the very same day she was my baby. She has a whole lotta love to go around. So i say go with dutch! They have such amazing personalities.

I raise Holland Lops and I think they're just the sweetest rabbits! They're very calm and small enough for the kids to handle easily. Angoras also have wonderful temperments, too, but all that wool is tough to keep up with!
