I am far from an expert in genetics/biology, I wonder if you take birds of 2 breeds and cross them, A rooster to B hen, then cross A hen to B rooster, does this change the chicks that will hatch or will they be the same because they come from the same 2 breeds?

Is there a site anywhere that has a good explanantion of chicken genetics and what traits are dominant and other such information?

These punnett diagrams show the outcome for any sexlinked gene (Z-chromosome).
The males have 2 Z-chromosomes eg A/A, the females have one eg A/-
