Well, it's certainly a rooster, and some type of game breed, though it's hard for me to be more specific than that... Very pretty fellow, regardless!

He's a household favorite. I don't know what a Nanikin is but I will research. I was trying to get input from knowledgeable people. He is quite small. I don't if hell gety any bigger. I saw some birds called Jungle Fowl and he seems to have the colors of these but I think specific colors can go to any number of birds? Thanks for any help.

Nanikins are very small bantams that have a similiar shape to your bird, that is why I am guessing that he could be a Nanikin. I am not an expert so you may want to see what other folks think.
The yard leaves make good scale marks for how small he is.

Looks like an OEGB cockerel. This color is found on a LOT of breeds. . . Red Jungle Fowl are not bantams like him, and are also very rare.

    Nankins are very rare. [IMG]

What would these color arrangement be called? I've found pictures of all kinds of fowl with similar colors but can't nail it down.

He does look like a jungle fowl. Very handsome. How's his personality?
