The lady I got these two from definitely had some larger, drakier looking drakes onsite. They were huge and long and their heads were clearly more warty(?), but they may have been older.

I was wondering about that. I knew they matured slower than Pekins and my pretty girl has been laying for a while now. You’ll know soon enough mine start laying 8-9 months.
They look like females.I was reading this post and decided to share my two muscovy. I vent sexed them as female (but I am new at it.) They are slightly bigger than my male cayuga in appearance but seem quite a bit heavier than him. They often step on their own feet. They are very quiet. Almost never make a sound. But in the morning when I let them out they huff. Not very loud like I have seen males do. They are 4 months old. My husband said he has heard them make a coo sound but I'm not sure I believe him. Anyone want to give sex suggestion? They are the exact same size. View attachment 2267647View attachment 2267645
I really hope so! I have to rehome at least one if they are male. Because they havent made any of the typical girl noises, cooing or trilling, I've started to doubt. They look like females.
By now males would be longer in the body between the wings and tail.I really hope so! I have to rehome at least one if they are male. Because they havent made any of the typical girl noises, cooing or trolling, I've started to doubt.
