There are 4 chicks, pink band, blue, grey and no band.

Backstory,
My 3 year old buff woud go broody every 6 months, so I got some buff eggs on line (no roosters) and slipped them under her. 4 of 10 hatched. We have done nothing other than put out chick food. Mom did a good job. The chicks have been walking the yard with mom since 2 days old. If we get all hens I'm buying a lottery ticket

What breed of Buffs are they? Their skin is too yellow for Orpingtons...

They should be pure breed Orpingtons? At least that is what we were told.

Curious about this too...I have two BO chicks whose legs are a pinky-grey color...what color is their skin supposed to be?

Orpingtons should have white skin, it can appear pink/grey though. Yellow indicates crossbreeding.
