What sex are these??

Hello,

Anyone fancy making a guess on the sex of my chicks?

This is a Light Sussex x Lavender Araucana it's about 8 weeks old

This is an 8 week old Silkie- I'm thinking boy...

And finally, my Lavender Araucana chick, it's about 4 weeks old

Any thoughts very welcome

1. Leaning towards pullet, but that comb is pretty red for an 8 week old
2. Roo, but I know nothing about silkies, so it's just a guess.

that silkie is definitely a roo and same with the last one

All three are roos.

BTW, who's that gorgeous buff-barred bird in the second picture's background?

Thanks for those, all three boys then probably- I had wondered myself so good I was on the right track. How unlucky though to get 3 out of 3 roos!

Still, Silkie has a home (my friend wants a Silkie boy), the first chick is actually my friends (we hatched and reared it but it's going back to her, she's got a big farm it can run about on so as long as it doesn't crow too close to the house it should be OK!). Bit gutted about the Araucana, I was looking forward to blue eggs, but now I'm thinking about crossing it with my hens- Lavender Araucana x White Orpington - wonder would that would be like

The bird in the back ground is the broody- got 3 identical ones, came from a friend who had too many. They are "barred cockerel x buff silkie with a splash of lemon hen" apparently. So a bit of a mix, but make great mums and lay lots of little white eggs. Here she is...
