A while back I wanted a rooster to add to our flock. He/she was young at the time (and still is) but they thought he/she was a boy. Well, there have no signs of any rooish behavior; what do you think? And what are you looking at to tell?

  2. I am interested in the responses. I have a few I will need to sex too. For what it's worth, looks hen-ish to me.

My guess is roo, but I wouldn't take what I say tooo heart!

I know the roos do sometimes develop feathers around the neck that are more pointy and hair like then the girls.

I want to say hen but the bright blue ears are throwing me off. I had the same color pullet and she didn't have that. [IMG]

He/she is about 20 weeks. Should I take any more pictures of a particular area on him?
BTW, thanks for the comments; if I counted right, we have 2 for hen and 3 for roo
    Any more thoughts?
