    Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I'm afraid I have no experience with peafowl but I'm sure if you pop by the pea section the keepers there will be able to help you. Here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/51/peafowl
Wishing you the very best of luck and enjoy BYC :frow

Welcome to BYC! Glad you joined the flock! Unfortunately I can't zoom in enough to tell. You need a picture of the wing to help peafowl people. How old is the peachick? Around 3 weeks we can get an idea but the most accurate is when the peachick is three months old. You'll need a picture similar to this. I believe I see bold barring on the shoulder which would be a male but I would like a picture similar to these to confirm.

I don't have any experience with peafowl but @Birdrain92 does as well as other members you'll find on the peafowl forum Yorkshire coop has given you the link to. I'll just say hello and thanks for joining us!

It seems to be a male. The barring is bold and by two months if it was a hen it would be mostly gone.
