What shoes are you wearing outside?

Shopping for outdoor shoes that are waterproof and comfy. I need arch support. I’ve tried about all of them -Muck shoes used to be my favorites over a decade ago but then they lost quality- after a while models change and deteriorate faster- at least I think $90 for a pair of shoes that doesn’t last 6 months is too fast.
I’m waiting for a pair of Round the Clock crocs for the stormy humid hot weather. I have a pair of Avengers for winter. Merrell Jungle Mocs were great but so short-lived. What are you wearing outside?

Typically snake bite boots, but they’re $$. I don’t necessarily need to wear them all the time, they’ve just become my go to. Sometimes I just throw my rain boots on. I’ve been known to go in the back with flip flops, flats, or sneakers too. I like to have a bit more coverage though in case 1. I step in a fireant hill 2. I encounter a snake 3. So I’m not wearing poop covered shoes when I go out and about

I have a pair of tall Bogs rain boots. We have heavy clay soil here, and this year we've had a ridiculous amount of rain, so boots are necessary.
If I'm not doing the animals and I'm staying near the house, I have a pair of Lems which are breathable shoes designed for barefoot walking, which doesn't sound like it would work great for your feet because of the lack of arch support.

Shoes? Outside? None - barefoot all the way. Seriously, Muck boots are the best/most durable that I have ever found as far as rubber boots - our local TSC sells them. For leather boots/shoes I like any of the Danner products.
Barefooter here, too! All day, cleaning the coop, walking in the desert, hiking, hanging around the house....For town, Earthrunner Sandals or for extremely jagged mountain climbing, Primal Run Amoks. Since I bed with sand, I no longer even own muck boots because there is never a need to muck out!

But not in your profile picture?! 😱

Yeay for Lem's Boulder Boots! That's what I finally convinced my husband to wear to heal his plantar fasciitis, which they did. It's the very lack of arch support, plus thinner soles, zero drop, and toe box width that corrected his gait and healed his feet!

Dressed for town in my lacy blouse....those are my Earthrunners.
Here's out in the desert in spring....and the road I walk barefoot every morning for 2-4 miles.

Me too. Im barefoot most of the time but I’ve also stepped on two rusty metal straps in my day that have gone through my bare sole and was bitten by a venomous spider 🕷 in my unkempt woods once. Mainly I need arch support though due to arthritis in my knees. Muck shoes used to be excellent… maybe I’ll try them again. 🤷🏻‍♀️
