I have 2 "quetros",cockerels. One has one single big earing , and the other is "bilateral",but the "tufts"are small. I have to pic one .Which one, acording you?
Help pics would help for someone who knows what they are, I didn't even know they existed, If you breed them, make sure you tell what breed they because I would have easily mistaken the ones on feathersite for the EE mutts. Here is the feathersite page if anyone else wants to see. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Rapa/BRKRapanui.html
We call "quetro", one of the several varieties of the native fowl, which were the origin of the araucana. Others are "collonca", and other names whitout proper traslation to English. It has earings, tail, and produce blue eggs. Here we separate the varieties,(quetros, colloncas, colloncas de aretes). I'll try to put some pics. this one has a single tuft. This is his father.
Oh cool, personally I like the first one better but I don't know anything about them or what they are supposed to look like.
