Since I live over 3h from the nearest vet, who would even CONSIDER seeing my birds, I am trying to pull together as many medications as possible to build an emergency chicken rescue kit.

So far I have:

Injectable Tylan and injectable Pencillin G
Blu kote spray
Vitamin and Electrolyte powder
Wazine
Vet Rx
Poultry picker paste
Leg mite spray
Frontline spray (for mites/lice)
Meal worms (treats)
aspirin (low dose, baby, of course)

Luckily, I am a nurse by trade, and have a trunk full of syringes, guaze, saline, gloves, conforming bandages....the works.

Wondering if anyone had any other suggestions???

Oh....just ordered the Tricide Neo Powder due to having a rooster we have been treating for bumblefoot >1 month now, with no real results. I have been giving him the pencillin injections in hopes of it not turning into osteomylitis (infection into the bone). His name is BUMBLE.....and I have taken a liking to him. Hoping the powder comes quickly, and his response to treatment is even quicker.

Thanks in advance.
