What time of day do your hens usually lay. The one of our two that is laying does so late morning to about 1:30 p.m. And yep, the other hen gets on the roost and cheers her on! Oh, the squawking!

Mine lay at all times of the day. Sometimes they're all laid before 9am, other times up until 7pm I'm still collecting. Just depends.

[IMG] I have some hens that lay in the morning 8-10 and then I have some that prefer to lay in the evenings. My Black Sexlinks will lay early, usually followed by my Mottled Java midday and then the Dorkings lay in the evening 4-7.

So I have hens laying all day basically.
