what to do about rabbit having FLEAS

    hi i have a six week old rabbit and she is doing really good she is eating drinking and i went out to check on her-she lives in a outdoor hutch- and she was laying done like she was injoying the pretty day and then i seen a flea on her :eek::barniewhat do i do i usually take my dogs to the vet and get stuff for there fleas do i need to do the same for my rabbit how do i get them off her thanks so much for your help :frow 5352D37E-2602-4B50-A0C6-6A6DCDA2F91E.jpeg and here she is her name is bella

    Permethrin spray should work well. Not sure if it's labeled for rabbits but it is for chickens, goats and many other species. It works on a wide host of pests from flies to mosquitoes, mites and even fleas. No withdrawal time for egg if used according to directions.

    You can bathe a rabbit in Palmolive dish detergent, that will kill fleas. Just be sure it doesn't get cold after being wet.
