    WELL FOR THE CHICKENS
especially now with setting hens Perse:
I would use CLEAN the hens box and change litter after putting DE OR AGRCULTURAL LIME on the bottom under the litter place

also if she has leg mites you need to put olive oil (OR VETRX) on her legs
then with olive oil or vetrx on legs
you will have to do this several times in the next 6 weeks
as it takes that long for leg mites to be healed

as for the chicken coop here is the thing

sounds like you need to clean and delouse the chicken houses
PUTTING A SIZE ABLE AMONTOF DIATOACEOUS EARTH FOOD GRADE(DE)
on the floor of the coop then adding the litter
    OR YOU CAN USE
Agricultural limestone from the lumber yard is good on floor also then bedding

give the chickens after cleaning and spraying the coop this
2 tbsp of ACV in a gallon of water

also provide some of wet mash feed for all chickens

    Wet Mash Probiotic
    1 qt of dry crumbles
    1/4 cup of yoguart
1-1/2 qt of milk any kind
ADD 1/4 CUP OF DE TO THIS MIX IF YOU HAVE IT ALSO
mix good and feed each adult chicken 3 tbsp of wet mash probiotic

YOU CAN ADD 12 CUP APPLE SAUCE ON TOP OF WET MASH IN FEEDER SO THEY WILL EAT IT

DO NOT MAKE IT SLOOPY AS CHICKENS DO NOT LIKE IT TO STICK THEIR BEAK

    For one Hen and Chicks
3 tbsp of dry chicken crumbles
3 tbsp of milk any kind
    1 tbsp of yoguart
    1 tbsp of apple sauce
mix good and feed hen and chicks twice a day

this will build up their systems as the mites and lice have
    DAMAGED THEIR BODY HEALTH BADLY

*****I also would take a look at the chicken house and see if any of the building has split boards or knot holes as the MITES LIVE THERE and feed on the birds
thus you can PAINT the spots of the building WITH

    1 qt of kerosene
    1 qt of mineral oil
with paint brush apply to the roosts and knot holes and cracks in the boards

also clean the bedding out of the building and put DE OR AGRCULTURAL LIME on the floor before putting the bedding in coop
destroying the mites and eggs they have laid

Scaly Leg Mite is caused by a burrowing mite (Knemidocoptes mutans) which causes scaly, raised encrusted scales on the legs of chickens and other poultry. Scaly leg can cause intense irritation to the bird by burrowing under the scales, causing them to become raised and thicken. They are fairly common in chickens.
