I have five pullets right now who are on a layers diet. I am thinking about getting more chicks. When I put them in the coop with the others, should I change the diet to a regular flock starter feed or keep them on the layers diet?

If they are the same age, I wouldn't change their diet completely. I would, though, add another type of food such as cracked corn grains for the chickens to enjoy. Chickens enjoy different varieties of food.
