What to do with scaly leg mite bedding from the coop?

I know there's lots of posts about scaly leg mites. I'm pretty sure a couple of my newer hens have them so I'm going to treat the whole flock, hopefully tonight. I'm also trying to clean out the coop and wondering what to do with all the bedding? Can I still use it in my garden like I had planned? I use deep bedding/deep litter and it's been building up all summer, so I'm sad I have to get rid of it before winter... But I want to nip these mites in the bud, hopefully before anyone else gets any! Any suggestions appreciated. Also what about the run? It has hay on the ground too... Does it have to go??

I just shoveled out a wheelbarrow load and you can barely even tell. This will take awhile!
