    My dad wants to go around the u.s in a year or two AND i don't.know what to do with chickens I don't want to get rid of them can I get a portable fence or a long leash for them or do I have to get rid of them I hope not what can I do [​IMG]

    5 isnt that bad.. maybe have a dog crate to have them travel in. That way they can come with you

    How are you traveling? In an RV? Living in a tent? Details! We need details! Although traveling with 5 chickens will result in a poop buildup one might not want do deal with.

    36" wire dog crate. Make a coroplast liner (bottom and sides) about 4" deep. Use pine pellets (equine fresh) for litter. Teach them to use a large water bottle made for dog crates. DONE!
