What to put coop on

Not sure really what to title this but i want to hear some suggestions on what to put the coop on when we place it in the yard. My bf wants to put it on 3/4 gravel and i’m thinking adding pavers. We don’t want to do a concrete slab or leave it on the dirt soooo any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Preferably in a good price range too!

I vote to use cinder blocks or pavers. Rocks always end up buried in dirt that chickens fling around and impossible to remove later without extreme effort.

I assume you are talking about a prefab coop not one built on site.

Nope, not a prefab. We built it in the garage because that was the easiest for us with the cold weather lol.

So a rather large walk in coop. That makes a huge difference in how much support it will need.

Maybe deck blocks can be positioned under it if you can get it high enough.

Are the casters attached or is that some sort of dolly it is on?
