Mine got waffles again. Ran out of blueberry waffles at home so I made one at work and got yelled at by the chickens for the lack of blueberries though. They are so spoiled....

I gave mine baked butternut squash. Also yesterday I gave them quick sale spinach. Mine look forward to my treats. I grew the butternut squash in the compost pile so I figure it should be theirs anyway. [IMG] Gloria Jean

I roasted 4 pumpkins for my chicks. It's cold and snowy here and I just couldn't set our hard pumpkins!

My girls get: Lettuce, pumpkins, mealworms, scratch mix (wheat, milo, millet, cracked corn, black oil sunflower, sunflower hearts, safflower, thistle & canary seed), Purina Flock blocks, alfalfa hay and any other greens we have left over in the house. They go bonkers over the mealworms and pumpkins.

I put squash seeds and flax seeds in a food processor chopped em' up and put em' in a bowl. The girls seemed to like it. And I understand the squash seeds have a compound that is effective against worms. So I hear.
